About

My View Point

This program is designed to bring young women together and show them effective ways of making wise decisions. Educating the youth to know that performing as a good citizen, helping others, doing great in school, becoming leaders, understanding self-values, and potraying positive attitudes in home and other places can be the new normal. Teens are introduced to negativity, as well as positivity, and we have to teach them to not be afraid of doing what is right! It's easy to say what they should do, but it's how we get the message across. The workshops consist of hand on acitivities, discussions, as well as take home literature pertaining to topics being discussed. Every little thing helps. What I have witnessed is that the girls have so much to talk about and are truly enaged in our discussions. We look foward working with you and watching your child grow.

I see our young women absorbing what society has to offer, social media, music icons, and television to lead them into the future. It burdens me to know that they are able to dress, venture wherever, and symbolize themselves as sex symbols at such young tender ages. They need us to direct and guide them by showing them what's important and introducing them to something more valuable. It truly takes a VILLAGE to raise a child and I'VE MADE A VOW to change MANY!.

Welcome to My Heart!

Middle school and high school is the know better do better stage. With guidance and reinforcement these young women will learn how to make wise decisions and apply growth to their everyday life. With me and my husband raising four girls we felt obligated to create an organization that empower young females to love who they are and that will also encourage them to go after their dreams while helping others along the way. We look forward to changing one girl at a time.

Young Women of Society is a 501(c)(3) Non-profit Organization based in Montgomery County, MD. Our organization is a Youth Development Program that is designed to target and work with young teenage girls. We're encouraging Middle and High School females to participate and attend our workshops for their personal growth and development. We will provide helpful information, as well as volunteer opportunities for all nationalities and those who take leadership serious. We focus on Character Building, Education, Career Advancement, Core Values, Leadership, and Female Empowerment as well as Financial Stability and Business Development. Young Women of Society is designed to create better parent and child relationships/ better daughters, and most of all more responsible, independent successful women within our communities.
